Our friends at the Guy's Racing Club host an annual mountain bike race at Neshaminy High School called the Guy's Neshaminy Mountain Bike Classic. It's a great event that has introduced so many local enthusiasts to the sport of competitive mountain biking. This year we sponsored two junior racers: Jerry Bower III and Will Lomas to participate in Men's Category 3 (15-18 year old) classification. Jerry is from Jamison, PA and is a member of the volunteer-led, Bucks County Composite Mountain Bike Team which competes in the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). Founded in 2009, NICA provides opportunities for middle and high school student athletes to compete in the sport of competitive mountain biking through their local schools. In the case of our local team, the Central Bucks, and Pennridge School Districts are represented. What a great organization dedicated to introducing our community's youth to a life-long love of activity. Congratulations to Jerry for finding the top of the podium in the roots and rocks at Neshaminy HS.
